What counts as an export
Only a finished download. Loading an image, adjusting every slider, brushing edits, hiding paths, and previewing the exact cut geometry are all unlimited and always free. A credit is spent when you press Export DXF and get a file.
This is deliberate. Dialling in a trace takes a dozen passes, and charging for those would push you to accept the first result rather than the right one.
Why $14.99 and not a subscription
This is a tool you reach for a few times a month, not something you live in. A subscription would mean charging you in the months you never open it, and then I would have to spend energy convincing you not to cancel rather than making the tracer better. A single payment aligns those incentives.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Depending on your region, sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout. Your licence key appears on screen the moment payment completes, and the same key unlocks up to five machines.
Questions
What happens when my free exports run out?
A dialog explains the options: watch a short video for one more export, or unlock unlimited. Nothing you have already traced is lost, and the tracer keeps working. Only the download is gated.
Do I need an account?
No. Free credits are tracked against your browser, and a licence key is redeemed directly in the app. There is no password to forget.
I use an ad blocker. Is that a problem?
Not for the free tier, all three exports work normally. The watch-an-ad option cannot run behind a blocker, so if you want that route you would need to allowlist this site. The lifetime unlock removes ads entirely and is the better answer if you would rather not.
Can I use one licence on my shop and office machines?
Yes, up to five. Redeem the same key on each. If you replace a machine and run out of activations, reply to your receipt email and it will be reset.
What if it does not work for my artwork?
Find that out during your free exports, that is what they are for. Read the examples page first, because most disappointing results come from source artwork that no tracer could handle. If you have paid and it genuinely does not do what this page claims, ask for a refund and you will get one.
Does "lifetime" mean anything?
It means one payment gets you every future version, with no renewal. If the site ever shuts down, the last build will be released so it keeps running locally. Your files are plain DXF and belong to you regardless.
